| Alexandria has studied Middle Eastern dance with local Chattanooga, Tennessee instructors since 1998. In 2001 she suffered a severe spinal injury which compelled her to withdraw from dancing. She rejoined the bellydance community over a year and a half after her accident. Returning to the dance proved to be therapeutic both physically and psychologically.
